We achieved our ISO 14001 certification in March 2007 and have held it since. It is our policy to meet all current UK environmental legislation and in doing so we recognise that the activities of the business, have an impact on the environment, in terms of waste generation, use of raw materials and emissions to air and water.
Our Environmental Policy shows our commitment to operating in an environmentally responsible manner. Emphasis is placed on continuously improving our performance, by reducing the environmental impact of our operations and compliance with all relevant environment legislation.
In accordance with the above Policy commitments, Rigg Construction (Southern) Ltd endeavours to:
- Ensure our operations are safe for our employees, clients, and the environment.
- Reduce or prevent the environmental impact of our operations where possible, by using recycled materials, preventing pollution and minimising waste
- Meet or exceed the requirements of environmental laws and regulations.
- Continually assess and improve our environmental policy
- Ensure every employee understands and is responsible and accountable for incorporating environmental considerations in daily business activities.
- Have operating policies, programs, and resources in place to implement our environmental policy.
