Design and build of two steel frame retail units, one for a Tesco Express and one fast-food outlet.
These were shells only with brick and rendered block to external walls, paint grade blockwork to internal skin, single-ply membrane roofing system with aluminium flashings, fascia and soffits. Aluminium curtain-walling, windows and external doors completed the envelope.
Externally, foul and storm drainage were provided and connected into existing spurs. Tarmac roads, parking and footpaths were to adoptable standards and pedestrian areas were block-paved.
We also provided street lighting, bollards and street furniture including benches and cycle stands. Close-board fencing to the western boundary and soft landscaping was also completed prior to handover.
