Demolition of the existing Gym Hall and construction of new Triple Storey Height, Brick and Steel Framed Gymnasium and Sports Hall, together with the construction of a new entrance and foyer area, serving both the Gymnasium and existing enclosed Pool complex.
Much of the work was carried out during term time with access to the pool maintained using temporary partitions and a strict health and safety strategy.
The works also included asbestos removal and alteration, extension and refurbishment of adjacent existing buildings, including the Headmasters House.
Works were completed under JCT Intermediate Building Contract.
