Construction of a new 167 sq m (1,800 sq ft) retail unit shell and associated external works.
This was a Design and Build Contract. The phased works consisted of enabling M&E and relocation of underground cables and lighting columns, followed by extensive car parking facilities and the formation of a new coffee shop unit shell within a confined area of the existing Retail Park.
The unit was constructed with a ground bearing substructure, steel frame and metal clad roof. Glazed curtain walling together with ‘timber effect’ cladded blockwork formed the envelope cladding. Mains services were provided together with landscaping externally.
