Scope of Work: External refurbishment of the existing Grade II listed Barton Hill building.
Rigg Construction worked closely with Marlborough College and Kendall Kingscott throughout the summer of 2022 to replace and refurbish existing windows, install new roof coverings, replace damaged tile hang and install new timber cladding.
Externally, this project included the installation of a new soak away within the garden area of the house masters suite and replacement of all storm water drainage.
Rigg also worked with third party contractors to coordinate the installation of a new flue and steel structure in readiness for upgraded boilers due to be installed during the internal refurbishment.
Licenses were in place with Natural England and managed by a local ecologist to ensure the work had minimal impact on any bats present within the fabric of the existing building
Phase 2 works commenced in February 2023 which included the replacement/refurbishment of sections of the pitched roof and existing chimneys
