
Rigg Construction have secured the contract to convert an existing classroom block into the new Exotics Centre at Wiltshire College Lackham Campus and refurbishment of the Grade 2 listed Lackham House.
This £1M project also includes the construction of new animal enclosures for the Otters, Lemurs, Marmosets and Raccoons, Aviaries for the Macaws, Parakeets and other small birds, an extension to the cattery, and a new Ferret Court within the re-landscaped Site. Works start on site towards the end of July and are expected to complete by the end of October.
Rigg Construction have secured a £1.8M two stage project. Phase 1 involves the repurposing of an existing student common room to provide a new Training Kitchen, and Student Services base over the summer. This will be followed by Phase 2 re-modelling of the Ground Floor of the Roper Building to provide a new production kitchen to service Fine Dining and Bistro catering within the current Student Services and Reception Areas. A new Main Entrance and Reception will be provided on the East side of the Building.
